This read like a Molotov cocktail laced with footnotes and fed up prayers. Thank you for reminding us that “the revolution will not be sanitized, subtitled, or politely requested in triplicate.” It will be young. It will be brown. It will be loud.

The old gods of control are trembling—not because we’re violent, but because we remember. We remember who built the country. Who taught the babies. Who bled in the streets while Congress drafted loopholes. And we’re not asking for permission—we’re rewriting the syllabus.

History’s pen is heavy, but blessed are the calloused fingers who still pick it up.

I’m not throwing away my shot.

I’m throwing it right at their narrative.

This comment is a sermon in syllables — I felt every word in my marrow.

You’re right: they’re not trembling because we’re violent.

They’re trembling because we’re literate.

Because we know what was stolen.

Because we’ve read the redacted pages and started scribbling in the margins.

We’re not burning the system down for sport.

We’re lighting torches because they cut the power.

And blessed are the ones who still write in the dark.

You’re not throwing away your shot.

You’re reclaiming the aim.

Let’s keep rewriting the syllabus — loud, brown, sharp, and unapologetically present.

Have already called both Senators, Moreno & Husted today. Of course both voted Yes on this “Big Ugly-Ass Bill” there really is absolutely nothing beautiful in all 1,100+ pages. Will the calls, emails or letters change either of their minds, don’t know but the more these two hear that it will ultimately affect their jobs the better. Also called House Representative, today.

This is exactly what courage looks like. 🙌

Even when the odds feel rigged. Even when the votes are cast.

Because the point isn’t just to sway one bill — it’s to make sure they know we’re watching.

You called. You documented. You showed up.

And when enough of us do the same, we don’t just shift votes — we shift consequences.

Let them call it “beautiful.”

We know what it really is: a betrayal in 1,100 pages.

And we’re not done calling it out.

Keep the pressure on. The calls do matter. So do the receipts. So do you.

🗣️📞🧾🔥

We’ll keep turning up the volume — and they’ll keep hearing footsteps.

Have been calling Senators in my state since January as well as protesting. Now up to multiple times per day calling them. Yep, loud and proud.

Today added to the call list Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME), Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ron Johnson (R-WI). Don’t live in any of these states, but this still is the “United” States of America, isn’t it?

May not have a voice or vote for any of them to be chosen as their state’s representatives, but do have a voice for them to do the righteous, moral and ethical decision to vote “No” on this Bill. Honestly it felt good and hope that others FLOOD the lines to Senators…

Taking some information from some who shared comments:

Call. Write. Email. Protest. Unrelentingly.

Use/share this spreadsheet as a resource to call/email/write members of Congress, the Cabinet and news organizations. Reach out to those in your own state, as well as those in others. Use your voice and make some “good trouble” ❤️‍🩹🤍💙

Have written and emailed my senators and representatives. One of those representatives is a Republican. He’s toeing the GOP line and I for one will be voting against him. I hope others in my state and in his district also inform themselves of his stance. The Democratic representatives and senators are voicing their objections to this horrible bill. They are to be given standing ovations.

👏 This is the kind of vigilance that democracy demands.

Writing, emailing, voting — it all adds up. And when a representative chooses the party line over the people, they deserve to be held accountable at the ballot box.

You’re not just sending a message. You’re setting a precedent.

And yes — the Democrats standing up against this disaster deserve every standing ovation. They’re doing what public servants are supposed to do: serve the public.

Let’s make sure your Republican rep hears the sound of facts, fury, and footsteps — all the way through November.

🗳️📬🧾 Keep going. Keep spreading the word. You're not alone.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I’ll bet he’ll get pretty tired of hearing from his constituents. That would be great.

We need a national strike

A national strike is one of the most powerful tools in the civic toolbox — not because it’s easy, but because it channels collective will into undeniable disruption.

It says: You will not profit off our silence.

It says: If democracy doesn’t work for all of us, the system won’t work at all.

But to make it real, it takes more than a post — it takes organizing, coordination, risk-sharing, and support systems so that the most vulnerable aren’t the ones who pay the price. The idea is simple. The execution is hard. But history shows: coordinated nonviolent disruption has changed regimes, toppled fascists, and re-centered democracy.

If you believe we need a national strike — you might also be someone who helps organize it.

Let me know if you’d like help drafting a message, platform, or plan. 💪

You’re so welcome — and you’re absolutely right.

What we need now isn’t just resistance. It’s awakening.

Not just from politicians, but from neighbors. Coworkers. Classmates. The silent majority who still believe in truth, decency, and democracy — but don’t yet realize how close we are to losing them.

And the beauty is: awakenings don’t begin at the top. They start with moments exactly like this. Someone speaks up. Someone listens. Someone realizes they’re not alone.

Then they rise — together.

Keep writing. Keep calling. Keep reminding this country who it belongs to.

We're not just witnesses to history.

We’re co-authors of what comes next. ✍️🇺🇸✨

I'm honored — truly. Thank you for carrying the message forward.

Every time someone shares, posts, calls, or challenges the narrative, it chips away at the illusion of control they’re trying to maintain.

This is how it starts:

Not with permission.

Not with power.

But with people — awake, fed up, and unwilling to be quiet.

Keep posting. Keep hoping. And know this:

You’re not alone.

You’re part of the awakening. ❤️‍🔥✊🔥
